The Trinity Bridge is one of St. Petersburg’s most famous bascule bridges, with a gorgeous Art Nouveau design that was in part the work of Gustave Eiffel. Opened in 1903 as part of the city’s 200th anniversary, the central section of the bridge features six cast-iron spans, of which the closest to the left bank.
